Danielle Reich Swing Quintet

Danielle Reich is a Houston-based jazz vocalist who has performed at the Trinity Jazz Festival (Houston), the Austin Jazz Festival, the Manouche NW Concert Series (Bellingham, WA), the Western Swing Hall of Fame (San Marcos), and the Houston Composer's Salon.

She currently performs with Houston's Boomtown Brass Band (1920s trad jazz) and Swing Rendezvous (1930s-40s jazz manouche), as well as her own ensemble, specializing in Great American Songbooks standards, French chanson and a smattering of pop and Western Swing.

Danielle will be joined by a swingin’ lineup of Houston’s finest:

• George Chase, cornet and trumpet (ROCO, ROCO Brass Quintet, Opera in the Heights, Boomtown Brass Band, H-Town 5);
• Kelly Doyle, guitar (Robert Ellis, Kelly Doyle Trio, Swing Rendezvous);
• Thomas Helton, bass (Boomtown Brass Band, New Vintage, Relative Dissonance);
• and Joe Slezak, drums (Boomtown Brass Band, Sax No End, Houston Society Orchestra, Steve Newsome).
